A Few Changes to our Routine: Tara will be gone on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday this week. Our afternoon activities will start at 2:30 those days and there will be no morning exercise group. Tara will be here on Tuesday. Don’t tell Tara because it is a surprise – but we will have a birthday cake in her honor after bingo. (Tara’s birthday was on Saturday.) You can come out to the party even if you don’t come to bingo.
Saturday Fun: Tara has plans for an afternoon of games on Saturday, Sept. 17, starting at 2:00. Everyone is welcome to join in on the fun.
Communion Service: Pastor Charlotte will be here for the monthly Communion Service at 4:15 on Tuesday. Anyone may attend.
Just a Reminder: As many of you know, I use the ledger sheet by the front door to find the names of visitors for our CLC column in the Oberlin Herald. If you have visitors you want included in the news, please add their name to that list. You can also ask Tara or Teresa to include them in the news. If you have other ideas to be included in our news, please share them.
This & That: This is National Line Dance week. There is a full moon today. Sept. 13 is International Chocolate Day and Fortune Cookie Day. Sept. 14 is National Cream-filled Donut Day. National Chiropractic Day is the 15th. Sept. 16 is National POW/MIA Recognition Day. The 17th is National Eat an Apple Day and U.S. Citizenship Day. Sept. 18 is National Cheeseburger Day. (Looking back through the list makes me hungry – donuts, cheeseburgers, chocolate, apples, and fortune cookies. YUM!)
