Diagnostic Imaging
Our Diagnostic Imaging Department is open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. A technologist is on call 24 hours for emergencies.
Radiography
Radiographs, commonly called x-rays, are available 24 hours a day per order of a physician. All x-rays are sent to Great Plains Regional Medical Center (GPRMC) in North Platte for a radiologist to interpret.
Mammography
Mammograms are performed Monday thru Friday per technologist availability. All mammograms shall be done only by the order of physician. Mammograms done at this facility are sent to Great Plains Regional Medical Center (GPRMC) for a radiologist to interpret.
CAT Scan
Cat Scan (CT) services are available 24 hours a day per order of a physician. All CT exams done at this facility are sent to GPRMC for a radiologist to interpret.
Ultrasound
General ultrasound services are available on Mondays and Wednesdays at Decatur Health Systems. Our ultrasound service is mobile from Hays Radiologist Associates. All ultrasounds shall be done per order of physician only. All ultrasound examinations shall be sent to GPRMC for a radiologist to interpret.
Magnetic Resonance Imaging
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is available on Thursdays at Decatur Health Systems. Our MRI service is mobile from SMS Imaging. All MRIs shall be by physician order only and sent to GPRMC for a radiologist to interpret.
